About
Claire Natale was born and raised in Erie, PA. Having started classical ballet training at the age of 5, Claire has been a performer all her life. Claire was a part of the Lake Erie Ballet and performed hundreds of times in a diverse range of ballets including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Dracula, Peter and the Wolf, and Hansel and Gretel. While in high school at Mercyhurst Prep, Claire delved into the theatre. It was during this time when Claire realized she wanted to pursue acting as a career. She went on to receive her BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Claire counts Caius Lucius in Shakespeare's Cymbeline with Pitt Repertory Theatre as well as Clara in Lake Erie Ballet's The Nutcracker as her favorite roles thus far.
In 2007, Claire was chosen from a national audition process to join the Hangar Theatres Lab Company in Ithaca, NY. At the Hangar, she worked closely with Drama League Directors and performed in several productions, which included originating the lead role of Ashley Whitaker in the world premiere of Girl's School Gothic by Lucy Boyle.
Claire now lives in Manhattan, where she has fully immersed herself into acting for the camera. She has completed many independent films and quickly earned her first major feature film role in Summit Entertainment's Sorority Row.
Claire is forever grateful to her wonderful and eternally supportive family and friends. In addition to her career, Claire really enjoys reading, running, knitting scarves, eating desserts of all varieties, shopping, visiting family and friends near and far, and having an occasional glass of wine.
